Interesting, the en gadget review of the android 2.1 update 1 was build 6745...is this it?

Hmm just downloaded it transfered to my sd renamed it and it disapeared lol
transfered to sd again and renamed using astro to Update
went to recovery and it cant find update.pkg

I'm about to try and upgrade... I hope it doesnt wipe it because I dont have anything saved!!!! Hint- download using "downthemall" firefox extension, only took a few minutes.

Speed is slow, downloaded through my server in the US at 90kb/s.

It is 30k per connection. So a download manager with 10-15 connections will grab it in a few mins. Perfect day for me to leave my usb cable at home too. .

love it! didn't flash using fastboot at all but worked flwalessly copying on the SD card (gave +rw to everyone) and guess what? 2.1-update 1!!!

No usb = no way to revert back to default recovery = no way to flash update. Oh wells. Nice to hear 2.1. Still same kernel version?

Can someone post some basic instructions on how to reflash the stock recovery?

Edit- figured it out. Quickest way is to download the clockwork recovery and just edit the bat file to point to the stock recovery image which is stickied.

kernel version is2.6.29-perf

i'm testing and first thing I saw is that there's no 720p for video rec :D

I couldnt, I tried changing the name and everything... but maybe I didnt have it capitalized... who knows.
