Hello everyone,

in this tutorial I will show you, how to get the GT540 working with the LG Pc Suite.

First download the Lg Mobile Support Tool. Get it here ->

Open it up and click on "install usb driver".

A list with phone will pop up select the GT540 and doubel click it.

A few setups will run to install everything wich is needed in order to connect the phone to the pc.
After you have done that and all setups went through you should get a message driver install finished or someting similar.

Select Customer Service, and go like in the picture seen.

Check the box by SN. Choose your Phone again and type in your S/N should be on the box you got with your phone or behind the battery.
If you have done that click the littel icon behind SN

If everythin is right something like this should pop up. Double click the first entry.

Lg Pc Suite 4 is going to be downloaded. After every thing is finished start up the program. Connect your Phone to your Pc via usb.
!! Your phone must be not locked or it wont be able to connect and disable use as usb massstorage. When shown a usb icon on you phone press your notifications button and confirm connect when prompted !!

If you did everything like shown in this tutorial it should look like this.

Hope I could help a few people.

You selected the GT540GO but you have to select the GT540.

Or just go Here! , to get the newest LG suite IV without jumping through hoops.

And Yes, along with Ev1lM0nk3y, I't won't work for me, with a uk o2 GT540, tried with GT540 setup, GT540GO setup, IMEI number, and SN number, and reading phone data....

It's not officially supported for this phone, but the direct link for those that really want it is in my post here.

Anyone else struggling with this link? I've tried a few times now only for the file to partially download and fail.

Nothing wrong with the link, tried it again just there, and downloaded the 86.2meg file(current size), in next to no time.

Hi there,

Im having problem of connecting via PC Suite.

It comes up "no response from device"

If i change it to mass storage it realises the phone is setup like that and comes up asking you to disable it.
But once disabled it goes back to saying "no response from device"

Any ideas?

I had the samd problem. Go into phone settings > SD card setting and make sure the top box is unchecked so the phone's usb is not connecting just in mass storage mode. Worked for me :)

IF the PC suite still cant find ure device, after disabling mass storage mode, then do as following, Restart ure PC and your Phone. Should make the deal

Using: CyanogenMod7 (2.3.5) @ GT540 Swiftdroid2 RC3 by Mur4ik.

Hi guys. I hope you can help me. I have triple checked that all is installed, but, whenever I click to start LG PC Suite 4 i get a pop up box saying "Member not found" Now after the first time this happened it was funny ("member not found" haha teehee) After more than a few uninstall/reinstalls it has become boring and frustrating. I ask you all for your thoughts and help. Oooops. OS XP SP3 All updates patches etc. Also had a go with Windows 7. That seems to loose drivers ie USB every now and then and will not find my GT540.
