Hello everybody!

Here is a new Froyo ROM for you to play with, made by me, made possible by phhusson! Without him, it wouldn't exist! ! Please donate to him !

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is planned for Xian LiquidF v2 :
- Based on FRF91 OTA update from Google + Work by phhusson (radio, WiFi, bluetooth, GPS, Sensors, the whole shebang!)
- Added 2.1 superuser app (boot.img can be used as superboot)
- Added Samsung Galaxy S TouchWIZ UI (twframework + twlauncher + modded init.rc in ramdis, choice on startup)
- Added tun.ko module + OpenVPN binaries!
- Cleaned out remaining Nexus bits (mahimahi)
- Added Phh's WiFi + Sensor fix
- New kernel built made by phhusson (forked from LiquidE kernel source) + 883 MHz O/C (default frequency)
- Samsung Galaxy S live wallpapers
- Ringtones + Notification sounds from Samsung Galaxy S
- Tweaked Video Settings (better video playback, quality improved)
- Flash 10.1 Beta 3
- HTC_IME MOD v27
- Titanium Backup
- Modded spareparts for Froyo
- Quickboot
- Autokiller
- SetCPU v0.5.4
- Maps 4.3 with global navigation
- LauncherPro v0.6.2 (choice on startup)
- Facebook 1.2
- Twitter 1.0.1
- OpenVPN Settings v0.4.6
- /system is 115 MB big, out of 128 MB

FRF91 includes the following changes :
- New browser core (webkit updated?)
- Improved Flash/plugin performance
- New JIT/DalvikVM libraries
- New debuggerd + spdtool

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uploading soon enough.

Please note that all of the included apps can be removed using the default Android application manager. app2sd can be enabled in spare parts by setting default install location to external.

This ROM can be flashed over LCR 1.7, PPHROYO, Xian LiquidF v2, or any other ROM based on the official LiquidE .bin.

Enjoy, and please send phhusson a beer!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Know bugs :
- Camera does not work
- Default backlight to 0 (broken light o meter)
- DO NOT WIPE CACHE (it's wiped with data on malez recovery)
- No hardware accelerated H264.
- SD CARD MUST NOT HAVE AN EXT2/3 PARTITION FOR FROYO TO RECOGNIZE IT.
- Trying to enable mass storage mode doesn't work, and "disables" the SDcard, reboot to fix it.

Credits :
- SpareParts v3 : leonnib4
- kernel : phhusson
- optimizations and cleanups : me
- FRF91 Base : Google
- HD Video playback : rodigezstyle

Here is the Froyo build I have been working on, it has the same bugs as phh's PPHROYO ROM, because I'm using the same kernel...

Credits for the kernel and network go entirely to phhussons! :D

If you like what I do, and want to support me doing more, please donate (link in my signature). Please also donate to phhusson, without him, Froyo on the Acer Liquid would not be possible!

awesome more devs on froyo :) but not going to use until Wi-Fi is sorted, not sure why this is such a major issue? data plans don't compete sadly.

I'm working on a port of the latest nexus one kernel... 2.6.34...

It has new froyo drivers... :) Testing tonight. WiFi may or may not work, we'll see.

Finishing up ROM.

I'm brainstorming with phh on how to fix that... I'll try my best. :) I'm releasing a version with phh's kernel, and in a bit, with a custom kernel. My mod allows for more CPU frequencies and better touch sensitivity (25 is too low).

Uploading to multiupload.

P.S. Another thank you for all of your support! :)

You need to flash it over 2.000.16 (Donut .bin), or over PPHROYO.

Oh thats awesome Xian, great to see you're still an active developer ;). Glad you managed to fit everything on the system partition.
Sadly I wont be able to switch to Froyo without wifi :(, but would it be possible to release a 998MHz kernel (probably without the 128MHz setting I suppose)?

I can release a kernel containing any of the following frequencies (thank you phh).

128, 245, 384, 422, 460, 499, 537, 576, 614, 652, 691, 729, 768, 806, 844, 883, 921, 960, 998

Please note that these have all been untested.

At 998 MHz, the voltage is at 1.3V, at 921 MHz, it goes down to 1.275V.

Hmm, wasn't 1.3V on the chip messing things up/slowing the whole device down? Anyway, my liquid was running fine with phh's kernel at 998MHz, so I'd really appreciate a kernel with those cpu settings.
I'm currently switching back and worth between Froyo and Eclair to test things out, thank you all very much for putting time into porting this beast ;)
