hi everyone i have just install latest ROM for liquid i am sure it is first stable version for final release liquid e

i am still testing it but i do ask as this is hard to get for me so i do ask that some donation do made for me getting this leak... i know u prob dont but up to u.. i release later 100% u know i dont lie with getting rom

What date is this build?

Also imo, it's pretty unethical to be asking for money for leaking someone else's work. I'm sure these leaked firmware builds are a bit of a no-no according to acer, but it makes all of us liquid users rather happy. But actually leaking AND asking for money.. that's just .. wrong.

I think it's better to release the bin first, then ask for donations, people are more generous when they know they're getting a good product first. Plus if someone else releases the bin for free, you won't get any donations at all (like with today's 0.016 bin).

hi,

yes kernel version and build date can be good to know. but i don't understand, few dates ago you was speak about rom 0.016 and now you have 1.100 ROM? how fast acer upgrade rom number :P

any way, i can't donate before the end of the month, as this is a hard month for me actually :-( sorry ...

Use a file manager such as Astro and open as text file /system/build.prop file, the build date is one of the lines in there.

By that logic, wouldn't it be unethical for us to use it as it has not been released to us? Whether or not he created the product is irrelevant, he is the one releasing it to us. Ever heard of a middle man? He could easily set up a website which would charge for download but he choose not to (I am sure people would buy it too). Asking for donations is wrong? I don't see you leaking any builds. I doubt they are easy to get. If you came up on alot of pure gold, would you give it away or sell it? He is basically giving it away and asking for donations and somehow, he is wrong for doing so. I don't get it.

He never said you had to donate to use the build, he is just saying it would be greatly appreciated if you did so.

BTW, I will donate this weekend once I get my paycheck. I have money tied up in too many places right now.

I'm guessing Acer just removed some debugging code (that helps testing), and added a few minor fixes and jumped the version number up to 1.0+ for public release. This probably explains the sluggishness we're still seeing with the 2.1 ROMs. At least that's what I hope is true.
