KaguDroid 1.3 ERE36B

This rom REQUIRES an ext partition on your sdcard or it will bootloop, you have been warned

This Rom is built from CyanogenMod Android 2.1 r2 sources, with my own customizations that make it the KaguDroid Rom. I find it really stable, at least for me, it is usable everyday. And many more really great things will come in next versions!

It now has a new app2sd concept discussed on xda nexus forum and implemented by Chrys Soyars. Basically, it allows you choose where to install apps: on sdcard or on data partition.

Current release: 1.3 [download]
(a JIT version is available too)

Why not install this today, and 2.1 when it comes out? Nandroid backups make it a four-minute job to swap ROMs!
I put Kagu on my Hero today, and it's great. I've come from jnwhiteh's AOSP 2.0.1 and this just seems a little snappier - I don't know if there's a proper video driver here or not, but games are more playable on this ROM.

Only problem for me right now is network location isn't working....

Great work Lox! Thanks a lot :)

If your not already on 2.0 then it would be best to do a wipe before updating..

If I install this ROM, can I directly upgrade to the "official" HTC 2.1 ROM in the future?

I've installed this rom and love it! Having a couple of minor issues, no dictionary being one but only minor. The other is that I can't flash a new radio rom! I've done it fine before on mcr but when I apply the new ju radio it all goes through fine but when I boots it's still on the old jh. I dunno if it NEEDS updating but it seems strange.
Thanks for a great rom!

The JU radio (the latest one) is detected as JH on this ROM :/ No idea why.

I hated the fact there was no dictionary either, so I pushed the HTC keyboard to it and I am now using that on this ROM.

This ROM is great though B) Everything is working fine for me here :)

I didn't install clicker or anything, I just pushed HTC_IME.apk to the device using adb and that was it. Works perfectly.

Where did you get htc_ime.apk?
Edit: just saw your link, thanks
