This topic provides downloads of the stock ROM for the Nexus One.

I would advise reading through all of the options available before downloading to ensure you get what you are looking for! Enjoy - i'll update this topic as and when new ROM releases become available. smile.gif

Tip: 'ERD79' is the original shipping ROM, 'ERE27' is the official update, 'ERE36B', 'EPE54B' and 'EPE76' are the leaked updates and EPF21B is the UK shipping ROM.

P

Image Format

This is the original secure signed zip from HTC. It contains all of the images for the various partitions on the device, which can be flashed via fastboot. To flash, extract the command 'fastboot flash partition imagename'. For example, to flash the boot image, use 'fastboot flash boot boot.img' and to flash the system partition use 'fastboot flash system system.img'. If you do not have a copy of fastboot, you can grab it here.

Use this download if you want to return your phone to completely, original, stock state.

EPE76 image format - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid / CoBlitz) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coral) / MIRROR (MediaFire) - MD5: 31a7944d2af0ecdaa06f4bf8f1558a10

EPE54B image format - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid / CoBlitz) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coral) / MIRROR (MediaFire) - MD5: 3388b13fa835efe4a60f2be92f5a9522

Update zip format (full)

This is the stock image repacked to an update ZIP for installation via a custom recovery image. It is completely stock, secure and unrooted.

EPF21B update zip - DOWNLOAD (MediaFire) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coblitz) - MD5: 8703c6e326ef43378396293cd5fc11da

Superboot images

If you would like to use the stock ROM but would like either root access or an insecure boot image (for adb remount permissions), then visit the superboot topic.

Official update patch zip

If you are on a completely stock ERD79 device (including stock recovery image), you can use the official ERE27 update (this is the same as the OTA update). Just download it, put it on the SD card named update.zip, launch recovery (power on with volume down held), press power and volume up when the warning triangle icon appears then select 'apply update.zip'. Sorted.

ERD79->ERE27 patch zip - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid / CoBlitz) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coral) / MIRROR (MediaFire) - MD5: 8b0d8390ae2fc680390a3662dcce89c3

Radio - update zip format

The update includes the Radio ROMs shipped with the updates, again as an update zip.

32.26.00.24U_4.04.00.03_2 - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid / CoBlitz) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coral) / MIRROR (MediaFire) - MD5: c55116d119e9e30cffc86875dce1a560

32.24.00.22U_4.03.00.21_2 - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid / CoBlitz) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coral) / MIRROR (MediaFire) - MD5: 28a6aabf2f756806c5eb5e99a9626ca4

De-odex packs

For expert use - if you would like your EPE54B de-odexed (for use with theming etc.), then there are two packs available for download below. The first is for the framework directory and should be sufficient for most theming, the second is for the app directory and provides full de-odexing. To push the framework, remove *.jar and *.odex from /system/framework and push the contents of the framework zip. To push apps, remove everything from the /system/app directory and push the contents of th app zip.

EPE54B framework pack - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid / CoBlitz) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coral) / MIRROR (MediaFire) - MD5: 046ff4a06b30f8d5cfa8cda8f54cf809
EPE54B app pack - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid / CoBlitz) / MIRROR (ROMraid / Coral) / MIRROR (MediaFire) - MD5: 977b5d3fabb726c0cc53ed7cee6d563d

Online Kitchen

The online kitchen below allows you to create a custom update ZIP with the components you require. The image is still stock, you just have the option of leaving out the bits you don't want. For expert users, the option to include either an insecure boot image or the superboot root boot image (with or without himem) is included. The radio image can also be included.

Enjoy! smile.gif

This is the stock thread, so i'm only having this kitchen make stock removals really - use the MCR threads for other customisations!

Hey Paul, nice work as usual! Is A2SD added to this stock ROM or only the Custom ROM?

No A2SD in this ROM. This rom is COMPLETELY stock unless you select insecure or superboot, in which case you ONLY get insecure / root.

You're phone is /always/ unlocked. You're bootloader is separate, and it will remain unlocked (since you flashed recovery, its has been unlocked by you) until that problem is solved.

And whether its rooted or not, is dependent on what option you ticked about. If you picked superboot, then yes, its rooted. If not, then it snot rooted

I have a question. Can I download and flash the original rom with the stock boot image and then re-root by flashing superboot again?

How about adding multitouch to the native apps (e.g. browser, maps, etc...) if possible?
That would be great!

Getting mine replaced because Haptic/Vibrate has failed. The guy I just spoke to says I'll get a like for like replacement. He never mentioned anything about warranty or bootloader unlock so right at the end of the call I asked if it would make a difference if the device was bootloader unlocked - he said he didn't understand. I explained I had unlocked the bootloader, he said - I don't think that will make a difference as long as you don't have third party software on it.

So, I know I can flash this stock before they collect, but I'm not sure if that will also swap the recovery (Currently have AmonRA recovery on)

If not I'll go check how to flash the stock recovery back and just hope for the best...

If you flash using the images download you can also flash the recovery.

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata

Job done! wink.gif
